Adana OSB Domestic Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant

The Adana Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ) Domestic and Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Project represents a major environmental infrastructure investment designed to treat both industrial and domestic wastewater generated within the industrial zone while ensuring sustainable water management and environmental protection.

The facility has a daily treatment capacity of 72,000 m³, designed to effectively handle wastewater with a high pollution load. The influent wastewater has an average COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) level of 4000 mg/L, requiring advanced treatment processes to ensure proper purification before discharge.

The treatment system is based on a multi-stage process, including physical treatment, chemical treatment, and biological treatment stages to ensure effective pollutant removal. In addition, the facility incorporates sludge thickening tanks and sludge dewatering units to efficiently manage and process the sludge generated during treatment operations.

Through this integrated treatment infrastructure, the project significantly improves wastewater management within the Adana OIZ while supporting environmentally responsible industrial development and compliance with environmental standards.
